Everyday I see clients in my office that live with chronic pain. Sometimes these people have been in pain not only for several months, but for 10, 15 even 20 years. 20 years living in pain? That seems pretty extreme and yet people do it every day.  

It is important for me to educate my clients on options available to them to get relief from their chronic pain. The best way I have found, is to make them aware of how the body works. I do this by recommending to them that they purchase at least one, if not both of the following books, written by Pete Egoscue:
Once they have a basic understanding of how important posture and structure is in the human body, they can then see that the pain they are having can be remedied once they start to take responsibility for their health and wellbeing. The physical dysfunction that so many people experience as pain, can be corrected once the body is able to maintain musculo-skeletal functionality. This functionality can be accomplished by doing The Egoscue Method.
